Few Updates

Hvae a couple things to add here...

  1. The Cabinet plans will be comming from LuSiD's website. He has a pretty nice layout for his construction and it is also covered in the book "Project Arcade".
  2. Did some TV shopping, and the cheapest I can find a 27" TV with S-Video, brand new, is about $170. This is a bit more than I want to pay, but it's always there if the money just drops in my lap.
  3. Still have not made the marquee yet, but have figured out that I'll have to buy a "Marquee Retainer" from Happ Controls.
  4. I've been updating my Rom collection and setting up the emulators in Mamewah (the front end I'll be using). In order to make some of the emulators work for a cabinet, I've had to seek out hacked versions of them. This just means that you can exit the emulator with just the ESC key. Just makes it easier. Still need a gameboy advance emulator that will do this.
  5. I may have the system in which will run the cabinet. It's a Dell Optiplex desktop. 750mhtz and 256 MB RAM. Not too bad, but not perfect either. Runs about 98% of the games at full speed, but there are still a couple that run a little slower than they should... sound glitches and such.
  6. Working on custom skins for each emulator as well. I have a few done and will post when they are complete.
  7. Should be buying controls this week... can't friggin wait!
  8. May have settled on "CoRniCade" for the name and marquee.
Things Still To Be Worked On
